Have you been wondering what to wear in Charleston? For me, fashion is almost as much fun as traveling. I like to find beautiful clothes to fit the magnificent cities and towns I visit around the world. For Charleston, South Carolina I opted to wear some dresses with real Southern Charm, a few fun pairs of shoes, and one bombshell bikini. Check out a few of my favorites below.
Black & White
This black and white fit and flare picnic style dress is from Maison Jules. It was perfect for exploring the Boone Hall Plantation. The colors photograph well and fit in with most outdoor scenery.
This blue and white ruffle dress by Rebecca Taylor was perfect for walking around town. The dress is pictured without the belt, but was still a great choice for a southern city. You don’t see a ton of ruffles wandering around NYC, so I was excited to give this style a try down south.
This blue and white printed dress is from Leota, a NYC based dress designer. Despite having northern influence, I think it worked out just fine in Charleston! The blues of this dress were beautiful against the marble stairs and pastel buildings.
I’m a New Yorker, so when it comes to shoes, you can trust me. I walked about 5 miles a day in all of these shoes. For this trip I brought three pairs of shoes. That’s honestly the least I can manage with. A low wedge, a Jack Rogers flat and Vera Bradley flip flops for the beach.
I recently picked up this hot pink bikini at the La Perla sample sale. If only the sun would have showed its face a bit. After traveling with friends with hot pink bikinis, I have decided that hot pink is the most photogenic color for a bathing suit.

The black & white Maison Jules dress and Franco Salto sandals were complimentary from Macys for a previous instagram post. The Blue & White Leota NYC dress was also complimentary for a separate Instagram campaign. I actually bought my own bikini.
